    • However, another Redditor said that he really relishes owning a printer that he doesn’t have to level
    • The build surface is excellent and reversible if you don’t want the texture- he’s able to print several PLAs, PETG, and some success with TPU

    Design & Features

The printer’s design is sleek and simplistic, just like other printers in its price range. It fits as many parts as possible on the same print bed, so assembly is very fast.

The nozzle size on the Vyper 3D printer is 0.4mm, it has a heated build plate for ABS/PLA and supports sizes 100x100x100mm and larger.

The print bed size is 120 x 120 x 120 millimeters. You can print objects up to 70 mm in height and use the 360° swivel mount to make it portable.

    Other Features:

    • High-speed printing in less than 10 minutes.
    • Supports ABS and PLA plastic materials.
    • Support SD card for saving print files and provides nearly unlimited printing area with SD card. (SD card is not included)
    • Made of high-quality material for long-lasting durability. It comes with a 1-year warranty for your peace of mind.
    • No messy glue is needed to assemble the machine, as it is assembled already in the box!
    • Dual extruder hot end and dual motor control board, effectively improves print quality and uses up to 80 % less plastic material.
    • Large printing area of 120x120x120mm, you can fit more parts on the same size bed for easier assembly!

    • The Vyper is technically the easiest to use and has a very simple interface. It will be especially useful for parents and children who want to learn 3D printing. You can also turn off the LED lights as needed, which is important for those that want to use this in a public place or at school.
    • Features an auto-levelling system that works with ABS and PLA materials, as well as high-resolution printing with lower layer height settings for best results.
    • Many of the upgrades on this device are optional, such as the heated build platform that is capable of printing at temperatures up to 140°C.
    • It is compatible with a wide range of filaments, including PVA and PETG, to name a few.
    • This machine can be used either as an open-source project or an IP protected one, depending on your preference.

    • It is the quietest of the ANYCUBIC machines, making it great for a home or classroom setting.

    • The heated build plate can only be used for PLA materials. As a result, it limits the compatibility for certain filaments at this time.
    • Only supports 1 extruder and 1 hot end which limits you to having one hardware component to use at a time.
    • The Vyper is not as intuitive when it comes to using the manual controls on screen compared to other printers in the 3D printer market. However, the specs are still impressive for most people.
    • There is an OLED screen which is only useful if you are extremely familiar with 3D printing and what different settings mean.
    • Although this is not an issue with the printer itself, the filament is a bit more expensive.
    • When printing with larger objects, you will need to rotate the print bed manually without the auto-calibration function.

    Who Is It For?

The Vyper is a great option for crafters who want to learn about 3D printing, hobbyists and those that want to upgrade from their entry-level printer.

But, as noted before- you will have to have some technical know-how if/when things break or you get annoying errors!

It’s also great for those that want to print everyday gadgets and items that would give you a lot of value for your money. The Vyper is a good printer for someone who wants to print a wide variety of materials and saves time on your prints.

The filament is shipped on a reel but also comes pre-coiled on an SD card, making it extremely easy to set up and use.

You won’t need any glue or messy tape to set it up!

This Vyper 3D printer has one of the best filaments available in the market and performs better than most other printers in its price range. It has a 1-year warranty and comes with excellent customer service.

    Print Quality & Performance

    Print Quality & Performance

When it comes to print quality, the Vyper 3D printer is great for beginners and even more experienced users. The printing speed is fast and will save you time on other projects. Beginners can use the basic settings that are simple to adjust and veterans of DIY 3D printing can use advanced settings that are just as simple.

    Auto Bed Leveling

The auto bed leveling feature makes this printer stand out from others in its price range.
